Almamula
Dans son quartier à Santiago del Estero, au nord de l’Argentine, le jeune Nino est régulièrement la victime d’actes homophobes parce qu’efféminé. Afin de le protéger, sa mère très croyante emmène toute la famille à la campagne pour les vacances d’été. La forêt près de la maison a la réputation d’être hantée par l’Almamula, un monstre qui, selon la légende, enlève tous tous ceux qui commettent des péchés charnels. Alors qu’il assiste aux leçons de catéchisme en préparation de sa confirmation, Nino se sent étrangement attiré par la forêt maudite.
