St Trinian's, la fameuse école de "jeunes filles", doit faire face à la crise financière. La banque menace la directrice, Camilla Fritton, de fermeture. Sa doctrine peu orthodoxe de la liberté d'expression et d'émancipation est menacée par le nouveau ministre de l'éducation, Geoffrey Thwaites, déterminé à apporter l'ordre et la discipline à l'école anarchique.
