Ce film suit un détective connu du public d'Autodale en tant que "l'Ombre Amicale". Autodale travaille sans relâche pour empêcher les monstrueuses créatures qui rôdent à l'extérieur des murs d'entrer dans la ville mais pour une raison étrange, les incursions et les attaques sont devenues de plus en plus fréquentes récemment. Il semble que cette irruption en particulier soit devenue très violente très rapidement et que l'Ombre Amicale ai été envoyé pour enquêter.
