Célibataire et fabuleuse !
Mindy, mère célibataire, se retrouve en pleine crise de la cinquantaine, tandis que son anniversaire approche. Sa fille, Rita, souhaite qu'elle rencontre l'oncle d'Emily, sa petite amie, afin de concrétiser leur relation. Elle invite donc Emily et son oncle à venir passer le week-end chez sa mère. Mindy ne le sait pas encore, mais elle s'apprête à vivre un week-end fort en émotions, lors duquel elle va devoir faire face à ses angoisses, ses doutes et par-dessus tout, à son passé amoureux.
